Chiropractic Associates offers free initial consultation, we want you to be sure our care is right for you.  With your consent, we offer treatment for back pain, neck pain, headaches as well as other musculoskeletal disorders such as shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand pain; hip, knee, ankle and foot pain.

Established in 1989, the practice has provided treatment for over 20,000 patients. We serve the county of Lancashire, especially the city of Preston but also attract patients from the surrounding towns and districts of Chorley, Leyland, Longton, New Longton, Penwortham, Cottam, Blackburn.

Press Release: NICE news for back pain sufferers in Lancashire!

Yesterday UK headlines and media focused on the new National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines for the treatment of back pain explicitly backing the use of complementary therapies including spinal manipulation, massage, acupuncture and exercise.  This is good news for back pain sufferers, and good news for a local Lancashire practice offering this treatment.

Jeff Shurr is an American Doctor of Chiropractic and is a Registered Chiropractor in the UK and Hong Kong.  He founded the first chiropractic practice in Lancashire in 1989. Chiropractic Associates, now located in Walton le Dale, offers evidence based care for back pain sufferers. The care team comprises chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists and exercise therapists.
